| Li Pingwu, professor of English.After graduating from university, he has been engaged in English teaching for more than 40 years.For his serious and responsible teaching, he has won successively"Outstanding educators in Fujian Province", National Outstanding Teachers"Other titles.Since 1978, he has been engaged in the research on English vocabulary, dictionary and bilingual translation.The research focuses on English word formation theory and practice based on morphemes.Representative works include two academic monographs: "The Story of English Roots and Words" and "English Affixes and English Derivatives", as well as a popular series of reading materials named after the Science Memory of English Words".Due to his long-term academic research, he was sent by the Ministry of Education in 1989 to work at the Dictionary Research Center of Macquarie University in Australia for more than one year.
